What happens after you submit?
Once you've submitted your Expression of Interest (EOI), it will be reviewed through the appropriate Queen Mary process. This page explains how your EOI is assessed and what happens after a decision has been made.
How your EOI is assessed
Where a central review panel is required, applications are reviewed by members with relevant expertise for the funding opportunity.
EOIs are assessed against the funder's published assessment criteria and scoring rubric, where available. Applications are selected based on the strength of the proposal against the funder's criteria.
All panel members are required to declare any conflicts of interest before participating in the review process.
After the review
| If your EOI is selected | If your EOI is not selected |
|---|---|
| Continue developing your full application with your Research Manager and JRMO. | If your EOI was reviewed by a central panel, you should receive feedback. |
| Complete project costing and obtain the required internal approvals before the funder deadline. | Feedback will normally highlight strengths and areas for improvement to support future applications. |
| Ensure your Worktribe costing matches the final application submitted to the funder. | Consider future funding opportunities with support from your Research Manager or faculty research support team. |
