The Research Integrity Committee
Our Research Integrity Committee has strategic responsibility for promoting a culture of good research practice throughout the University. For this purpose, it is briefed about relevant national and international developments. This informs the policies it develops and the guidance it issues to researchers. The Committee has, among other matters, deliberated on AI, authorship, predatory journals and research data-management.
The Committee is also responsible for overseeing research misconduct investigations in accordance with University policy. As an institution, we are committed to learning lessons from each and every case and this is reflected in the deliberations of the Committee.
